During the warmer months we live on Matinicus Island. GoMOOS data allows a daily check on the conditions on the island, which is especially important as a way to maintain contact with the island during the winter months when we live in Pennsylvania. During the warmer months the wave reports are important in helping to make travel decisions when moving to and from the island. Hourly weather data from the three midcoast bouys often provides a more accurate picture of island conditions than the more regional NOAA predictions. Please keep up the good work.
